SOC-400 Longneck Extension Accessory
In this
configuration, the sampling accessory is separated from
the spectrometer. 
The gold plated light pipe translates
the collimated beam from the spectrometer to the
external sampling head. The length of the light pipe can
be modified. To minimize energy losses, the infrared
beam travels only one way in the light pipe. The
detector and the preamplifier are located inside the
housing of the remote accessory. Both the specular and
diffuse heads are offered for this configuration.
