Free Hyperspectral Data
SOC and our customers have acquired a large volume of hyperspectral data sets using the SOC 700 Imager. A series of thumbnail images of various sample cubes which are available for download are shown below. Click on any of the images to request a copy of the data. The data comes with an ENVI header and also a free copy of our HS Analysis software.

San Diego State University
Taken in the hills outside of San Diego by investigators in the geography department at SDSU, the 700 is being used to help monitor and map invasive plant species.
Hopefully, this research will lead to the conclusion that low-cost hyperspectral imagers like the 700 can help to prevent the spread of damaging flora.
Fake Leaves
Can your eyes see the fake leaf? Plants have a strong feature in the near infrared which can be detected with the 700.
